The Kid’s 6-week Intro To Boxing class will begin again in January:
- Tuesday 1/23/2024 from 4-5 pm
- Saturday 1//27/2024 9:30-10:30 am
The cost: $169 for one class and $335 for both classes.
Please reserve a spot with the gym. You can also go through Burlington and Billerica Recreation Departments if you live in those towns.
Kids class on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm
We are adding another kids class on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm in addition to the classes on Monday and Wednesday.
Parents now have the option to choose between 3 evening classes. Parents can sign their kids anytime throughout the year.
- These are 12-week programs.
- This is a contact class with other kids and instructors. These classes are for grades 4-9 only.
The cost:
- Once a week is $279.
- Two times a week is $489.
Exceptions can be made by staff on age and grade to be accepted into these classes.

What do kids learn on an “Intro To Boxing” classes?
During the boxing class, we will focus on footwork, coordination, power, speed, focus mitts, bag work, boxing combinations and conditioning. These classes are great for self-esteem and confidence. They can also complement other sports your kids may be involved in.
During our children, boxing classes all contact will be practiced using protective shields, pads, focus mitts and heavy bags led by an instructor. There is no direct contact with one student striking another student.
Children will learn how to slip and avoid punches. The focus on technique, form, conditioning, power, speed, timing, coordination and balance will be emphasized.
