CHILDREN BOXING CLASSES

Boxing is very safe if taught properly. It is actually safer than football and hockey.

Training in boxing will make your kids stronger. As an extra to the physical benefits, they will learn techniques and punching combinations.

This sport is great for anti-bullying since children will gain confidence and self-assurance.

Kids and Teens Boxing classes at MK Boxing Gym

We offer Intro To Boxing sessions that run under the Recreational Departments of Billerica, MA and Burlington, MA and Carlisle, MA towns. Please contact the Recreation Department in your town for further information.

Additional Kids classes on evenings

We are adding kids classes on evenings at 5:30 pm. Please check the schedule>>>

Parents now have the option to choose between 3 evening classes. Parents can sign their kids anytime throughout the year.

These are 12-week programs.
This is a contact class with other kids and instructors. These classes are for grades 4-9 only.

Exceptions can be made by staff on age and grade to be accepted into these classes.

During the Intro boxing class, we will focus on footwork, coordination, power, speed, focus mitts, bag work, boxing combinations and conditioning. These classes are great for self-esteem and confidence. They can also complement other sports your kids may be involved in.

During our children boxing classes all contact will be practiced using protective shields, pads, focus mitts and heavy bags led by an instructor. There is no direct contact with one student striking another student.

Children will learn how to slip and avoid punches. The focus on technique, form, conditioning, power, speed, timing, coordination and balance will be emphasized.
