Kids Intro to Boxing 6-week program

Time 9:30-10:30 am

Cost per person:
$ 169 or $325 for both classes.
The classes do fill up.
If you are with the towns of Billerica or Burlington, please contact your local recreation department to register. If you are not in those towns, you can register with the gym directly by calling 781-376-4269.
MK Boxing is now adding permanent kids classes
MK Boxing is now adding permanent kids classes separate from the Intro to Boxing classes.
Our new kids classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm beginning this week. These will be 12-week programs. These classes are specific to those kids from 4th grade to 8th grade.
Most of the class will focus on boxing, but for those kids that would like to add kickboxing, elbows and knee striking combinations, takedowns, etc., this will be offered. You have to come to the gym, or call Mike at 781-376-4269 to register.
One session 12 weeks is $269.
Two sessions 12 weeks is $379.

How does the boxing class look like?
During the boxing class, we will focus on footwork, coordination, power, speed, focus mitts, bag work, boxing combinations, and conditioning. These classes are great for self-esteem and confidence. They can also complement other sports your kids may be involved in.
During our children, boxing classes all contact will be practiced using protective shields, pads, focus mitts, and heavy bags led by an instructor. There is no direct contact with one student striking another student.
Children will learn how to slip and avoid punches. The focus on technique, form, conditioning, power, speed, timing, coordination and balance will be emphasized.
