Kids boxing classes this January

Kids Intro To Boxing classes 6-week program begins:

Tuesdays, starting on 1/18/2022 Time: 4–5 pm
Saturdays, starting on 1/22/2022 Time: 9:30-10:30 am Cost per person: $159.00 Pick your day and register early.  The classes do fill up. If you are with the towns of Billerica or Burlington, please contact your local recreation department to register. If you are not in those towns, you can register with the gym directly. Please email us or call 781-376-4269 to register by phone. You must reserve your child’s spot. We expect to be very busy with enrollments.

Kids sparring classes 6-week program will be held:

Mondays, beginning on 1/21/2022 

Time: 3:30-4:30pm

Price: $229.00 (with boxing gear supply)

          $199 (if you already have your own boxing gear)

If interested, please speak to the gym staff. This is a small class, and it is a contact class with kids sparring with coaches and other kids. Mouthpiece and headgear are mandatory.

You must have some experience to be considered an entry into this class.

How does the boxing class look like?

During the boxing class, we will focus on footwork, coordination, power, speed, focus mitts, bag work, boxing combinations, and conditioning. These classes are great for self-esteem and confidence. They can also complement other sports your kids may be involved in.

During our children, boxing classes all contact will be practiced using protective shields, pads, focus mitts, and heavy bags led by an instructor. There is no direct contact with one student striking another student.

Children will learn how to slip and avoid punches. The focus on technique, form, conditioning, power, speed, timing, coordination and balance will be emphasized.
